Sol Harvest on indefinite hiatus.

I deeply regret to inform everyone that follows this tiny blog that development has temporarily been put on hold.

I am developing PokeStory full time now. As I rush to get this engine completed, there is hope for Sol Harvest! Using that redesigned engine, built from scratch, I plan to utilize key components to put Sol Harvest on the fast track for development and eventually, release.

If you wish to follow this blog, feel free, but I will no longer be using it save for the day Sol Harvest is resurrected, a new page built for it, and is linked. Thank you all for your support!

Sol Harvest's New Home


I have had this project on hold for a really long time because of the other, bigger project I've been working on. That project is now on hiatus, so I decided I would resurrect this effort to make something better than FarmVille! :)

Anyway, the new site isn't ready quite yet, but I'll be using my own server to host it. You can find it here at sh.tm14.net. :) I hope to see you guys around.

And to those who thought this was a dead project, I'm bringing it back! Woo!

A prototype of what your new home will look like

This is in no way representative of a finished product. I've just been messing around with some concepts and I think this looks good enough to be the home for a farmer! Of course, you may have noticed I'm using PokeStory's tileset... Well, that's because I am! :P Don't worry, you wont see Pokemon crap littered everywhere. Infact, the only thing I think remind me of Pokemon in this map is the PC I'm using as the farmer's virtual storage. And without further delay, here's the prototype house!

A little light shed on SH

So, I've been trying to throw together a small development team to make this indie game a kickass, unique one. So far I have two artists and a couple of mappers willing to aid my cause. This will make things run quite smoothly. I just need one more artist and a web designer and everything will be underway!

I've got Navarr's support, too. He's let me borrow shmmo.koneko-chan.net for the time being as the new home for the SH project! Go ahead and bookmark that page; I'll let everyone know when it goes live.

Once I get a solid base done, I'll be trying to release another private beta that's invite only. ;) But in order to do that, I need to gain supporters. So, follow this page! Recommend it to all your Facebook friends! Keep this place alive until then! :)

More development news is sure to come later.

SH Revived

With my PDoA project coming to a halt and PS in development, I decided to try and scratch together a type of online farming game, combining some elements from Harvest Moon, Animal Crossing, Farmvile, and a little personal flair for medieval combat.

This was last year. This summer, I plan to get a working beta out and finish the game by the fall. I'm sorry for being inactive for almost a year. I'll bring you guys some gameplay screenshots soon enough. :)

Graphical Makeover!

I'm planning on creating a custom tileset for SH. This will allow me to do some nifty effects within the game. Also I plan on redoing the graphics engine a tad. It'll look better and more promising. :)
